Im new to this forum, I have a 98 dodge neon SOHC 5spd and I want to increase horse power. I use to drive this around but now I need to go on the freeway and its not pushing as it use to. Any one know if they make performance parts for this such as maybe pistons, turbo? supercharger? Also has anyone purchased an electric supercharger on ebay it claims 40 hp increase, but its 200 bux and I dont want to risk if its not true

they make everything for your car from pistons to axels however the electic supercharger woulnt give you 40 unless its hit by a bolt of lightning. the homebuilts that run 5000bmp have been known to make around 10 the one you r lookin at is about 500. try to look under modernperformance.com and howellautomotive.com

 

hey thnx i looked at those sites but i think their stuff is over priced, i mean 5k for a turbo kit thats way to much. I have around 110k you think a turbo kit will b fine on that engine and ima build the kit my self, do you know if neon uses same manifold as eclipse. Also does engine restore help the engine a lot

personaly before building a turbo motor i would fix any problems on the body( rust ect.) and i would rebuild the motor then worry about forced indux
