i know the MP pcm would bump your timing up a little and have a higher rev limit....maybe increase a couple horsepower....i dont know about the af/x cpu though
AF/x Race Version could yield you around 8-10 HP, but its tuned for a long tube header. You don't need one, but if you don't have one then you won't the PCM's full potential. The AF/x Street/Strip version is slightly better than the Mopar by about 1-2HP. The Mopar Performance PCM gives you around 5-7 HP. These are estimates because there are alot of variables to consider.
Not for the 1st gens, but you can use the MTX PCM. You either need to install a tranny cooler (good idea anyway) or hook up a toggle switch to activate the lockup torque converter.
