need a stock dohc pcm for my 96 neon so i can do the head swap....any body have any laying around?

 

oh yea.....if i have a 95 neon block.....and a 96-99 head....which pcm should i use?

 

What PCM does your car have? 95 is small ( single plug), 96+ is bigger (2 plug) 97-99 are different again. 3 differnt PCM's. Use what your car is already.
ill have a 96 DOHC auto PCM for sale shortly if that helps any...

 

i have 3 dohc auto pcm's sitting on a shelf.....but they wont do you any good because you need one for a manual

 

whats the difference from the 96 and the 97-99 PCM anyway, they have the same plugs.
I honestly dont know if my race car is a 96 or 97 (VIN is long gone)
So if it Is a 96 and i put a 98 PCM in whats gonna happen?

 

my car is a 96....so i guess it would be a 96 manual pcm im looking for....ill try a couple of junkyard nearby and see if i can find any....but if yall know any one that is willing to sell one, let me know.

 

The only difference between the 96 and 97-99 PCM's are the way they operate the cooling fans. Pins 18 and 55 just need to be swapped to use it.

 

Are you going for a high compression motor, with the dohc block and a sohc head, or are you going with a turbo motor with the sohc block and dohc head!
