Default speed limiter

on a ATX where is the speed limiter and is it possable to remove it?

the speed limiter is in the PCM. only way to remove it is to get a Mopar Performance PCM or i think the A/FX one from howell.

the af x ones are outragus in price if only i could get my hands on the software they use
and the Mopar Performance PCM are for MTX only

only other way to get rid of it is to remove the speed sensor in the tranny....but then you also wont have a speedometer

Swap in an MTX and get a aftermarket PCM for it

Can't you install an aftermarket speed sensor somewhere on the car and have a cutoff switch for the stock sensor? I don't know much about neons but logically thats what you think would work

There isn't one for the neon.
