ok so i bough tthe car after it was sitting for a while the motor was siezed so bought a new motor, but noticed the shaft that the torque converter sits on was scored bad all the was around near where it goes into tranny. i took my chances and used it anyway well i just started the car and put it in gear and the tranny whines when in gear, it still drives but whines. im guessing its the pump but not sure, the fluid in it is nasty, i didnt chance it yet, do you think that could be the issue? how do i quiet it down without buying a new trannt?

 

louder radio and change the fluid see what happens

 

i would change the fluid and put in a new filter....if that doesnt help, then u might wanna try a new tranny
