im not sorry either...this is just what i needed to help persuade the wife to let me spend an *** load of money on my carand i finally get the motor done...soon im gonna have a $30,000 neon....
im gonna take alot of pics...
the wife wants to take the car to the drag strip when its done, i dont know what kind of hourse power i will be looking at, but i hope its alot...
i guess my goal of being able to beat a Z06 will be comming a little closer

i was running the stock injectors with about 70psi of fuel pressure.....but if anything other then oil caused the problem then i would bet it had sumthing to do with the map clamp....piece of junk.....when anyone puts the srt turbo on their car, get the one from hahnracecraft....its 100.00, but its non adjustable so no tuning of it is involved

hopefully my stock block will hold until i can get the 2.4 block done....i dont plan on running more than 8psi with all the necessary gauges and fuel mods,and a wideband...properly tuned. scared to tune it my self, so im gonna have a shop do it for me.
hey spud, you interested in getting a stage 3 clutch(150%-200% capacity)with an 8lb flywheel for $460? im gettin mine from a friend of mine that has a wholesale acct with nopi...the original price of the clutch is over $800 so thats over 50% off..

i was gonna call hahn and see where they get their dyno/tune work done since they are only about a half hour drive from my house.....
your motor might last fine, mine lasted 10,000 extremely hard miles
i was thinking of making my own block off kit.....im almost done porting the head im gonna throw on the built motor, so maybe when im done i will start to make the egr kit.....
and hopefully when im done working on everyone elses cars soon, then i will get a chance to pul my car in the garage and start ripping it all apart...after i take it to a car wash first...
i wouldnt mind the clutch, but the one i have now seems to work out fine.....but i dont know how it will hold up after all the extra power is added......i will let you know maybe in a couple weeks, i might have to pick one up anyways

Spud do yourself a favor and get a wideband and keep your air / fuel ratio 11:1 and no leaner!
, i melted apiston in my talon running it 11.8:1 and the EGT never got much above 800*C
It doesnt take much to KO anything boosted
You need to be able to monitor for detonation also, that is a quick killer of a turbo motor.

i think the stock wastegate is set a about 7psi...but i cant exactly remeber...
get an AGP, they hold the boost alot better and are easy to adjust...
i was thinking of selling the AGP that i have and getting a polished one since im gonna show the car when its done.......i also have the stock srt4 one if you need it
