yea....im gonna get a set of ARP head bolts....$109 on modern performance..nota bad deal
Oh and make sure you torque everything correctly.

yea thats what i was about to ask you....how much do the bolts need to be torqued?

This is from my 97 FSM...
INSTALLATION
(1) Before installing the bolts the threads should be oiled with engine oil. The 4 short bolts 110 mm
(4.330 in.) are to be installed in positions 7, 8, 9, and 10
(2) Tighten the cylinder head bolts in this sequence shown below . Follow the four step procedure
listed below
*First Bolts 1 thru 6 to 34 N·m (25 ft. lbs.) and Bolts 7 thru 10 to 28 N·m (20 ft. lbs.)
*Second Bolts 1 thru 6 to 68 N·m (50 ft. lbs.) and Bolts 7 thru 10 to 28 N·m (20 ft. lbs.)
*Third Bolts 1 thru 6 to 68 N·m (50 ft. lbs.) and Bolts 7 thru 10 to 28 N·m (20 ft. lbs.)
*Fourth Turn an additional 1/4 Turn, Do not use a torque wrench for this step.

that hurts you could have got a good one from a yard near you for 50. 30 for the head and 20 to let them pull it so you dont have to do it in the cold.

the only yard close by is a pull-a-part where u take it off yourself...and they only had sohc's there....i know of another junkyard but they charge alot for their stuff....for ex....$600 for the engine...and that doesnt include them pulling it for you.

thta is insane if im gonna pay 600 for a junkyard motor the car better have been rearended on its way out of the new car lot
