no i didnt have it tested,,it was good when it was in my other neon,so i just figured that it would be alright,,lol,,that sucks,,waiting in my car for 5 min,,till it stays running on its own,,[:@],,have u ever heard of anythinglike thisb4,,[&:]

 

Are you getting any engine codes? It is possible that the alternator is bad and the battery is low causing computer malfunction. Also check the vacuum lines you may have knocked a line off when replacing the alternator.

 

if you have a DMM do a volt drop test your alt to bat. should be around 170ish
