im saving up for a 2.4 liter engine srt4 turbo or not would rather the srt4 just wondering where i would go on purchasing one and what else would i need for it to fit in my car? plz help with details am dead serious about doing this extra 1000 saved up already =]

 

It would be cheaper to buy a 2.4L engine and run it with SRT internals. Try www.car-part.com for engins near you or look in the Stratus forum for someone who may have one for sale.

 

You could also try www.ebay.com.

 

yeah that kinda what i wanted to do somethin more of those terms. how much would a decently mint 2.4 cost (30,000 or less miles) and how much would the srt4 internals cost?/ where would i go to buy those?

 

will a stratus motor fit with the stock mounts or would you have to mod it

 

they have a 2.4 motor mount adapter for the 2.4 motor to fit in our neons. for sale on modern performance

 

You should be able to find a decent motor for around $500. Look around on the internet for the SRT-4 internals. Check the for sale board on these forums or go to the SRT-4 forum and ask.
