Default Magic stretchie belt

So, I replaced my alternator about 2 weeks ago, Got everything tightened up swell, Had mabye a quarter inch of play on the belt. No squeeling. A week later, SQUEEEEEEEEEL... The belt was loose. I tightened it up all the way so the tensioner was almost gone. Also tightened the top bolt to about 1 million ft lbs TQ =P.A week later SQUEEEEEEEL... and the tensioner is at the same spot. DoI have a magic stretchie belt? Also, I have an ebay UDP. anyone?

I have the UDP and the belt we measured out to need was a 32 i think, IT didnt fit right on, we had to wedge it on then tighten it a lil and it was snazzy for a while.

Does it squeal all the time or when you are turning? Could be the quality of the UDP you are driving is letting the belt slip.

A little pricey, but they are great quality belts.

I had a gator back and that lasted about three years. I got a MIGHTY belt and I'm going on year 5. It hasn't stretched out too much and there is no glaze on the smooth side.
