Default Walbro 255 Intank Pump

If i was to just get the walbro 255intank replacement pump from modern performance.....do i HAVE to do the spoolboy mod for my turbo?

Yes, because you need the return line.

ok, here is how it works

if you get the intank pump then you will have to do the spool boy mod because you will have to bypass the stock regulator...otherwise you might as well keep the stock pump in there.....
so that is why i have 2 pumps.....
the walbro in-tank pump was bought on accident, so i just put it in anyways since i alredy had it......so, you can keep the intank pump stock, then get the external walbro and hook it up to the stock pump...the way it works is that the stock pump pushes out 49psi through the stock regulator, but the external will basically pull out the extra fuel that is necessary for the turbo.....
and then, as an extra bonus, if your stock pump ever dies on you, you can still drive the car home

if you need, i have an external walbro that i am willing to sell

i can send you all the pics you need if you decide to go this route with only using the external pump...its alot easier then doin the spoolboy mod since you only have to modify the stock pump to fit a return line into the canister

It's not cheap, but if and when I do a turbo setup...thats what I would like to do.

i guess the external inline is the route im going then...thanks das and spud......anyways how much does the hahn portfueler cost?

the guy i got my srt turbo from hasthe port fueleron his car......

do you need the external pump????
im gonna go rip the extra one i have off of my other car here in a few minuites
