timing a dohc is really easy.....as long as you know what you are doin
i will never buy another sohc neon after having my dohcs....the dohcs are alot nicer in my opinion.....
just make sure to check the timing before you remove theallen wrench(or whatever you use)to hold in the pin in the tensioner....that pin is a PITA to push in, so it really sux to have to do it more then once[&:]
the timing belt keeps tension on it because of the tensioner.....the tensioner is basically a 6" long cylinder that has a small pin in the top......the cylinder bolts to the block and the pin pushes on one of the idler pulley mounts
timing is basically tuning......when you are adjusting your timing you are just aligning the crank with the cams
