Default Power Loss When Heating in On

Our 1995 Neon is having an issue where the car loses most of its power when heating is turned on (even on the lowest setting). is that normal for a neon? anything I should check? The car almost stalls while driving with heating on.

Thank you in advance!

What do you have it set on? If its set on heat and defrost (the one for the front windshield) the car will kick on the A/C compressor which will drag your engine down. That is normal. If its not on defrost, I would start checking your grounds and other connections, because the blower should not draw THAT much juice...

OR if you turn the **** to the left instead of the right it will turn the a/c on, even if its on heat ive noticed that on a couple different ones. Im willing to bet its on defrost.

yes if it is on defrost and you A/C system is overcharged with will draw a lot more drag on the engine than normal
