alright guys i was at a dyno run down in st loius gateway and seen a supercharged honda civic and seen somethin i never seenb4! the supercharger was being driven by a drive shaft to the other side of the engine.now ive never been a fan of straping a screw type to the front of our engines(if its possible) then my imagination started turnin gears and thot if this idea is fesable with the 420? and please no flaming i know turboin the neon is easier but everybody does it! i like things different than everyone else! thats y i drive a bright yellow neon and not civic[:'(]bah!!let me hear your thots guys and girls?

 

Not worth the time and effort. Neons have been supercharged and don't run better than a turbo.

But by all means, give it a shot.

Also, neons don't have a 420a engine. That is a Mitsubishi engine.

 

sorry the ecb engine or watever code theirs so many?? but i am very interested in this idea i also have a questoin bout intake manifold ive seen odd almost like box or cylinder shape manifolds with the throttle bodie directly on the end of it. any info on this?

 

DOHC=ECC
SOHC=ECB

The box type manifold are custom manifolds that are built. AMM (All Motor Mike) makes them...

is mike a member of this forum? i seen that he makes different types? also was hoping to get some inovative ideas on this. any bright ideas will greatly be appreciated like mounting ect. also the supercharger falls in the same relationship of being able to run 6-7 psi on a stock engine right?
