Performance computer question.
Hey all...I got a question about the performance computers. They say for manual trans only. Ok.here's my question...If the automatic transmission is not computer controled then why wouldn't it work?
that jet chip is crap....either the mopar pcm or the af/x pcm for the neons. i think u have to have a switch running from your torque converter since you have an auto...correct me if im wrong....

You can still use one, but you will either have to hook up a switch to activate the torque converter or just run a tranny cooler (good idea anyway, for an auto).

AF/x street/strip is comparable with the Mopar Performance PCM, but the AF/x is better than the Mopar and can add up to 7-10 HP on a stock engine and even more with a header added.

I am looking to by a comp. chip for my stock 97 DOHC. Is there anything else that I need? Or would the comp chip work?
