could someone please take a moment and explain, or point me in the direction of how to get a code sheet for a 1996 neon. I do not understand how to retrieve them or understand them. Please help.

 

put the key in the ignition, turn to the on position and then off like 3 times. so on off on off on off on. then you will see the check engine light flash. when it pauses for a short while (maybe 5 seconds) then it will go to another number (flash pause flash flash = 12). when it pauses for longer than its moving onto the next code. when you see "flash flash flash flash flash pause flash flash flash flash flash" then its 55 and that means that there aren't any more codes.
