i cant get my harmonic balancer back on, it a 96 dohc i did all the head gasket, and its like thebolt is to short, i even tried hitting back down with a rubber mallet and nothing any one had this problem. oh and i did go get another bolt and that didnt help either.

 

use a regular ball peen hammer to get the harmonis balancer on just be restrained when your hitting it on , and don't worry you won't hurt anything, but whatever you do don't try putting the balancer on by tightening the bolt it will snap the bolt off inside your crankshaft before getting the balancer all the way on.
