Ok here is what is happening a friend of mine has a neon of coarse and its acting up he said if he don't let it set for like a half an hour when started it will die here and there when you drive it and he is just wondering what might be causing it to do that any help would be greatly appreciated

 

maybe timing bad fuel have him check it for codes using the key method

 

Well the garage told him it was the mas air sensor and he just wanted to be sure before he replaced it

 

Did they mean MAP sensor? Neon's don't have a MAF sensor!

Is his CEL on?

And what exactly is the problem? Your post is a little difficult to understand.
