[align=left]my sohc block is starting to die. so im thinking of going to the yard and getting a new engine. im staying with the sohc block right now. i dont have the money for the good block right now. My question to my fellow neon lovers how much so i be ready to shell out for a decent sohc engine. im shooting for some where in the 50,000 to 80,000 mile range. any info would be helpful.

itllbe a little hard to find an engine with that many miles on it...when i do my sohc to dohc engine swap ill be selling mine....but it has of now 147k miles...still runs good though...no knocks...pings.....leaks...just need to replace or clean out the egr
