my auto body teacher wants to race me after my turbo build is done....he has one of those big *** ford turbodiesel trucks...he said he'll eat me alive....lol what do yall think?

 

Dude, be careful with that one haha... Those turbodiesal trucks are NUTS.. I had a friend running low 12's with his, but his was a Chevy... He probably will eat you alive... haha!

Never underestimate the power of a diesel... Especially since you can buy a CHIP that gives you 200hp... thats crazy...

 

the turbo diesels have alot of torque.....i know one around here that will burn the tire all the way down the street....and its a dodge

a kid at the shop where i took my motor said his dad would race me when my cars done......c6 corvette...that had aught to be fun

 

Yeah watch outfor those trucks! I've seen an F-350 smoke an SRT-4 and a Cobalt SS S/C. Good Luck!

 

Unless it's highly modded, you should be able to beat the Turd, I mean Ford. Even a stock Cummins is not going to give you any problem in a 1/4 mile race.....

That being said, if it's modified, all bets are off.....but considering the amount of work needed to make a 7500lbs vehicle run a 12 sec quarter.....I'd still run him

 

dude definetly see wat he has done to it first. i know a friend of mine... actually two of them... have mid twelves in their truck and they only have injectors, fuel turned upand a chip. just recently though the one guy got a fresh motor and bigger turbo, even bigger injector pump ect and is the same speed as before though because there is absolutly no traction with the thig lol. but i say race hi manyway for the fun of it

 

well it looks stock.....but you know how that goes lol..i dont think hes into the performance thing, but then again, i dont know what he does when we're not at school.....

i've seen an 05 f-350 eat a new z06 so i would say that its gona rape you, all you havta do in a turb. dis. is injectors and a chip and you can add over 100 hp.

 

ah, who cares... race him anyway. It'll be fun, win or lose.
