Ok so first of all please excuse my ignorance when it comes to cars I don't know very much, I have this horrible screeching sound coming fro my car when i turn it on, it will only go away once i start driving forward cuz if i go in reverse it still continues. I was told by a few people it could be my A/C belt and that it may need tightened. Well I was recently told it may be my A/C and some other kind of belt because of the weather change and how it expands or something like that. well i want to know if i need them just to be tightened or replaced and how much is it usually when it needs replaced. my boyfriend has to get surgery wednesday the 28th and will be out of work for 3 months so I dont' have much money to spare. If someone could please help me out I would greatly appreciate it

 

Probably your power steering belt that needs to be tightened.

 

Yeah one of your belts need to be tightened. Most likely the power steering. And dont worry it doesnt cost that much to get them tightened. I hope everything goes well with your boyfreinds operation.

well if it just needs tightened then i can get my friend to do it we both go to school and work full time ugh being in my 20s sucks i can't wait till i'm 30 lol

haha i cant wait till July...I will be 21 lol haha yes!! but yeah all it needs it probably to be tightened so it wont cost anything if you or one of your friends did it.
