Default transmission bolts

should i get all new bolts for when i put my trans back in or should i just reuse the old ones

If the original ones look fine then use them. Always think about how you can save some money. If they look bad or maybe you are missing some then buy some new ones, but most likely if you just took them out they should be just fine to re-use.

the only bolts that you should ever have to get new after they have been removed is the head bolts.....tranny bolts are fine because they dont streatch......

do these bolts have to be torked??

not even sure wat bolts he is talking about but am probably doing a transmission switch out so i can have a speedo

will a 95-97 tranny fit a 98 engine

The manual will give you tork specs for them bolts, but when I had the 2.0 in we had the trans in & out a few times and just tightened down just by feel and it was just fine.

i think that when i just put my new motor together, that was the 1st time ive ever torqued any bolt on my car

everything that I have done with the srt 4 engine and trans swapI have done it by the book.

Yes...all trannies will swap. But make sure you get a tranny with a modular clutch, so you don't have to swap bellhousings.

ive never had that problem......
bellhousings should be the same for either tranny.....just the flywheel is different
