i gotta a 97 SOHC ATX soon to be an MTX............is it true that all i need to do the SOHC TO DOHC swap is get......

DOHCpistons
DOHC head
DOHC valve cover gasket
DOHC head gasket set
DOHC headers
DOHC timing belt

if anymore input or less items it would be much appreciated!!!

 

first off.....header or manifold....not headers....there is only 1
second...you also need the intake manfold, passenger side motor mount, egr tube, pcm, valve cover, idler pulleys, timing belt covers, and possibly the wiring harness

sorry to butt in but do you use the pcm that matches the year of your car, or the head?

 

Year of the engine/block/head basically.
