replaced brake relay and multi-function switch unit with no results! where do i go next.

 

do the hazzard lights work? do the running lights work? did you test for power at the fuses? have you checked the ground connection at the lights?

 

hazard and turn lights flash at dash board not exterior.

What year is the truck? Did this just start and how long have you had the truck? Do you have power in and out of the brake switch? Have you pulled the bulbs and checked for power and ground at the socket? This is three totally separate systems. They don't share fuses or flashers or fusible links. I believe you will find the fault in the trucks ground system.

 

05 1500 would do it intermittenly for a year. one rear blinker started working. shifter won`t will not unlock now.

 

You might get more help at the 3rd Gen forum. It still sounds like an intermittent ground problem.
