Most of the world is retarded because they simply choose not to turn their brain on each morning.

i think it has less to do with them not turning on there brain and more so with them not having common sense beat into them.

i didn't make an excuse for them. just no one has common sense. all it takes to change a tire on the side of the road is common sense but most people still don't know how to do it.

Technically, the human body cannot operate without function and control of the human brain, so the brain is constantly running.

Thusly, I would have to agree with crazzy and say it is a lack of common sense.

Even though she isn't hard on machinery, in fact she is very lucky, my sister use to be so bad at maintenance, I once told her she might as well weld the hood shut. She would get our dad to buy her a good used car and drive it till it quit. Which would take a good few years since they were always Honda Civics. Then he would buy her another one. Trouble was, until he stopped buying her used cars and she had to buy them herself, she didn't learn she needed to take care of them. I remember she came over to get me to change her oil and when i asked how long it had been since she had it done last, she said Well, I have had this car for five years and never had it changed and have put 112K miles on it. !!!!! She had put over 100k on a Civic and NEVER had the fluids even looked at!

Just a testament to the durability of the Civic.

Well, before 2006 that is.

What's wrong with them starting in '06? Just curious, because Brittany has one, but I don't really know anything about it other than 5spd and 40mpg and slow and boring and I am embarrassed to be seen in it.

I can't remember the year when they lost some of their durability, and charm. I was thinking it was 06 or something like that.
