Default Manual windows

My driver side window will not go up and down. The teeth are not in line, because if I push the handle in as hard as I can it will catch and I can maneuver it dow. It's so hard it's not practical, the unit in the door looks spot welded on. Is there Any fixes that dont require replacing the unit inside the door?

Find out why things aren't lining up properly.

The window mechanism *should* just be riveted in place.......

Maybe there are rivets. I don't remember, ita been a few weeks since I fooled with it. Anyways, the actual handle that spins is closer to the inside of the vehicle than the actual teeth for the window track. I guess I could try and bend them closer. It's hard when you cant see what is going on in there lol

have you greased things? almost sounds like you have some damaged teeth on the winder if it works when you push it in.
