Default 2 wd lift

i have an 89' ram 2wd d-150 and i wanna make it look like a four wheel drive with 32 in tires. i no i can lift the rear with lift blocks but i dont know what to do for the front. Can i use 3/4 or 1 ton coils to get about a 2 in lift? Is there anything i can do to get the look i want( if u can understand what im lookink for)? thanks.

i can without a doubt say that i have done this. you need the two inch daystar front coil spacers for a 94-02 ram. yes they fit. but get a friend to help install. its tight but along with 3 inch blocks for the back my d150 is now the coolest d150 to ever hit the trails. i also got 1 ton springs for the front. so all in all i have 2 3/4" in the front and a solid 3" in the rear. you need to get an alignment after you do it though cause it throws it off. i did fit 31 inchbfg mudsin my wheel wells just fine. its bad ***. glad i could be of assistance

Hello,
When you installed the new 1 ton springs and the two inch Daystar coil spacers, Did you get new shocks??? Front and back?? I'm thinking of doing this plus installing a 3 inch body lift. Think I could fit a 32 or 33 inch BFG All Terrain on a 10 inch wheel? I'm also looking into Bushwacker cut out flares to make some extra room. Please let me know what your thoughts are about what I'm planing to do.
Thanx,
Rob

no new shocks but i know i need some new ones. it would ride a lot nicer.with a 3 inch body lift. hell youll be able to fit 33s easy. i say you should go with it though. i dont like body lifts just because your bumpers stay in one place while the body lifts. just looks funny

well, lets think about this. my trucks a 2x4 so i obviosly didn't get 4x4 spacers. so far everything looks good. no unusual wear ornoises or anything so i assume its good. i can now confirm you can fit 33x9.50 inch tires with my setup. ill throw a new picture on soon. i don't mean to brag but im pretty sure i have the most badass 2x4 to ever hit the trails.
