Dodge Ram Gas Mileage

I am only getting 11-12 MPG on my Dodge Ram 1550 pick up. It's a 2003 with a 5.7 lt Hemi V8.
Does this seem normal to anyone? Any ideas on how to improve it?

thats about what my uncle gets with his 03 2500 hemi. THe hemi's don';t seem to get much no matter what.

umm yea......sorry guys. with the cummins, I get 16 - 21 depending on how hard i hit the pedal

Welcome to the 1st gen forum, for D and W series 150, 250, and 350s. We have a sticky thread at the top with fuel economy reports from our users, not that you'll find any of them apply to your third generation Ram.
