Hello all, I was wondering if anyone would know where I could get a good set of springs or whole lift kit for my 90w250 with a cummins?my problem is the old owner put lots of springs on the truck and it rides way too rough,I don't think that I want to reuse any of the old springs, it seems like all the parts are made for 94 or newer, THANX in advance!

 

Black diamond had a 5" kit for my 86, but I don't have a Cummins and the 360 is a heck of a lot lighter.

There's a company up in BC that makes custom springs.

 

Now I don't know what the difference is between your truck and my 85 ramcharger 2wd, but I lifted mine using STOCK springs from a 94 fullsize chevy extended cab(my buddies truck). The spring is the same O.D. as the dodge stocker, but a little thicker. I had to trim one full coil off because they lifted it too much(upper control arm bottomed out on the bump stop). The lift I got was 2.75" from stock, after cutting. From what I've read the 3/4 ton and up trucks place the spring 2" lower than the 1/2 tonon the lower control arm, so you should be able to get a little lift from installing these springs. Maybe a 2" lift from installing them uncut, as long as I'm not mistaken. As for the ride, they ride good, since they're stock oem springs.
