How can you check the mechanical to see if they area functioning correctly. My 92' D150 has developed a nastyintermitent miss. The last shop I had it to said they checked everything and still could not find the problem. I have used them many times in the past and found them to be very competent so I don't doubt what they say. The only thing they found wrong was it was "running a little rich", but the injectors electricly checked out ok.

Most people either try and clen them or just replace them. Some shops have a cleaner that they run through the system by itself (with no fuel). Stop by a local auto parts store and see what they have on their shelf and recomend, it's the cheapest way to go.
