Default Finally on the ground!!

I finally dropped my truck. it took me and my cousin 2 days to do it tell me what ya think!

Nice job, how far did you lower the front end? I just signed up here.... I have a 1993 dodge ram that i am starting a frame off resotration of. What plans do you have for yours past the lowering?

Thanks!! Well i cut two coils out of the springs in the front and put the axle ontop of the springs. after measuring it lowered the truck 4in in front and 5in in the rear. My furture plans is to Rebuild the factory 318 and tranny, dont wont alot of power just wanna be able to jump in it and go anywhere. Hopefully ill have all the body work done and painted by next summer. I wanna find another engine and tranny to rebuild so i can do the swap in a weekend.

Looks good! I wouldn't leave those cut coils up front though, I'd go out and buy some 4" drop coils.

Your steering geometery and aligement is way off.

I know my alignment is off. When my buddy was gonna align it for me he told me to get a smaller tire in the front b/c if he aligned it it would hit my fenders in the front and tear the tires up. So either way im gonna have to get a set of tires for it. Im looking at getting the 16in wheels off the newer ram and put on it. not the aluminum ones the chrome steel wheels with the five star design. I think that would look ok on it.
