V10 pulling truck
In my local area, all the trucks in thetruck pulls are either Ford or Chevy. Every class is the same with the same kinds of trucks. I want to build a kickin' V10 Ram with a ground-pounding, performance built engine that'll wipe the smirk off all their faces. My question is what kinds ofmods can be done to make some real power out of these trucks. I'm planning on starting with a '90's 2500 truck with a manuel tranny. The class I am entering is one formodified street trucks. The rules say that you may only have 2 bolt-ons (exterior ones such as headers, intakes, ignition, etc all count as bolt-ons).Engines must be naturally aspirated and without NOS. However the rules say nothing about cams, rods, rocker arms, etc. Gears, axleshafts, and lockers are also okay to have. My question is what should I do to make the most horsepower possible within (and arond) these rules. I really want to show these guys what a non-cummins dodgecan do.
Also, what would be good tire, chassis, and suspension choices. You can't have solid suspension in this class, but ladder bars and suspension stops are okay. I was considering Mickey Thompson Baja Claw radials for tires. Drivetrain must be original, no swaps (which is why I chose a V10 instead of trying to find an original 440 truck in good condition).
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. <*>

I've got a books all about Magnum series engines including the V10. I'll find it and give you some performance stuff from them. Their both written by a mopar performance eemployee so everything should be correct info. Once i find them i will give you the info. Symmit might have some stuff dodgetalk.com has a specific forum for this engine.
The best thing you can get for the motor is a High-Po engine computer for 1997-2000 trucks. You can also get exhaust, cams, oil coolers, and air filter all from Mopar Performace so you would probably spend the two add ons on the computer and cam. I say you could also find sonme stuff from summit and jegs.
