Hi, I have a '85 Ram 1/2ton with 360 & auto trans. I have put a new carb, cap, rotor, & wires. The engine has 20,000km on rebuild when i got it. 2 problems.... when not warmed up for long period of time engine will back fire out the carb when giving it some gas.WHY?...........other problem when truck has been ran for hour or so then shut down for few minutes it will not fire. Engine is getting fuel but does not seem to be getting any spark.WHY?......................Any help with this would be great as I don't know much about Dodge problems.

Get a can of freeze it from radioshack,when it gets hot and won't restart spray the ignition box to cool it and try to start it,if it does not start,try the coil.
