Crank but do not start the truck to fill the bowl,check to see if the accel.pump is squirting fuel,if it is not,possibly plugged.
Carb rebuild kits often have an exploded view of the carb,just take your time and thoroughly clean the whole carb.
I have rebuit alot of carbs.

 

okay yeah today we were running straight out of the gas can after adding the electric fuel pump..
sorry lights on today just so stumped with that &^%^(&%^&(%

..I did rule that out.. I have about had it and want to torch it.. I dont have coverage on this or I would have today.. LOL
looks like I am looking at the carb after all.
something I dont really want to do,...

any pointers here?

If the fuel pump did not help,take it of,it might complicate things down the road,if any thing add a filter there,just in case there is debris getting in the system,it will reduce it getting to the pump,if it did help leave it.
