need long wheel studs
Hi all! I am attempting to install aluminum wheels on my 1992 Dodge 3/4 ton, 4wd w Cummins. I need to find some longer than stock wheel studs. I have checked the local auto parts stores, and come up with something only slightly longer. I am sure I am not the 1st one to want to put new wheels on this year truck. Looking for any advice as where to find these studs. Already called Summit Racing - nothing.
Thanks!
Tim

I have put alot of aluminum wheels on alot of different vehicles. I have never had to change the studs except on my 68 Dartdrag car and that was because the rules state that you have to. Do you have the right lug nuts for the wheels? I may be wrong but, if you have the right lug nuts then the wheels should work with your studs.

Tim, what you want to do is ask at a local wheel shop. If they don't have them, they'll sure as hell know who does.
