Default Lifting A 78 POWER WAGON?

I'm thinking of lifting my 78 Power Wagon. Off roading isn't goin so great with the stock setup I have smacked my Oil Pan. What do you all reccommend to do. What brand of springs? I'd like to stay away from blocking the rear do to some bad axle wrap expieriences. Can you help me.

how much money do you want to spend?? i just priced rear 5" inch lift springs (this is like a 2 or 3" lift over stock, they have factory blocks) to replace my 5 inch lift blocks and they were just under $500 with poly bushings... RIDICULOUS.

I like to keep it under a grand spending limit. I don't want to use any blocks besides the stock ones. Stacking is cheap but by cheap get cheap results is my thoughts on block setups. I'd like some straight up Leaf Springs in the back and front using the stock block. How much can I get out of a Add a Leaf kit? I just want mild performance and 33's.

you have front lift blocks? oh. thats a no no. just get the front springs, bushings and all that, and then if your budget allows get the rear springs. if you have to, you can get the 5 inch block like i have, and i think the kit comes with an add a leaf...? i dont know for sure, look at the four wheel parts website. im running 305/70-16's, its like a 32 1/2 or 33. and if your thinking you can get a lift and tires for less than a grand you either have serious hookups or your just nuts. i just spent over 500 on two new A/T's, a full set would have been aound 900 or a 1K.
