brakes or transmission

Default brakes or transmission

when i come to a complete stop seems like the brakes dissengage then re engage when i step on the accelerator to move forward it feels like its struggling once it gets going the truck doesn't seem to have a problem picing up speed.What do you think?

Sounds like your brakes are hanging up. Get a jack ready then drive up to it and stop. Get out and jack the front up as fast as you can and see if the wheels spin. Repeat for the rear. My truck was doing the same thing and it was worse in reverse. The parking brake cables were rusty enough they wouldn't disengage completely so they were keeping pressure on the front of the drum which was making them rub pretty hard. Ended up cutting the parking brake cables with a dremel so I didn't have to take the brakes apart.
