Over Drive issue
I admit, I could have searched in here a little longer but.......
Here's the problem....At low speeds (not necessarily low RPMs...once I get past 40ish mph it works fine) My OD is having a tough time figuring out if it wants to be in OD or third gear. The obvious answer is "check the fluid levels"...which I have, they're fine. I've got a button on the dash that turns it off...which makes me think it's a sensor to the transmission that's gone bad....but I've looked through all my manuals and I can't find an OD section/wiring diagram anywhere. All I can find is maybe the throttle rod needs adjusting?

OD in backwards? yikes......
Do you remember where on the transmission the line for the OD went to? I mean, there has to be some kind of electric something going back there right?
I guess if I have to pull the transmission out and rebuild it, so be it. As long as it waits till spring....no heat in garage = no fix to truck
