I have fixed this problem but i want to know what happened. I bought an accel high performance coil and installed it on my truck, no problem ran fine. Well about a month ago my truck had a could not find problem, i put the old one back in, to see if it was the problem. Well it wasn't, so i left the stock one in it. After i figured out the problem(computer) i put the Accel on back on. Had no problem for a while, about 2 weeks. Took truck out for some to the floor runs up the street, ran fine. Then got to a stop light and it was missing and shaking bad, like there was a plug wire unhooked(there wasn't). Took truck home and listened to it there. If in drive it would almost die beacuse of the missing, sounded like a it had a huge cam in it. Anyway i put the old coil back in, ran like new. To make sure it was the problem i arranged the coils so i could just unplug one and hook the other up, and sure enough it was the coil. I paid about 50 bucks for thsi coil and it just ****s my motor up. What caused this?

 

Main cause is spelled ACCEL. I was very lucky with mine. It ran two years. I now have an MSD on it.

 

I kept looking for and MSD but couldn't find one.

 

Accel coils are garbage. I've had two, and both cracked.
