Ok, I don't know the correct term for this, but the thing that shows what gear your in, dosen't work in my truck, wondering on how i could fix it.

for starters we are going to need to know your year and all that jazz. Second i know in 88 there was a recall on the gear selector.

Remove instrument cover and you should be able to notice if there is anything broke. I'm not sure if it is electrically actuated ot mechanically.

Allright its a 1983 D-150, the indicator just stays on park, it wont move when i switch gears
