Exhaust question
Jacob, you CAN get the Cherry Bomb Extreme single in, single out. I have an Extreme (single in dual out) on my truck and it sounds amazing. It's only been on for about a week, but I haven't had any police problems with it yet.
Well seeI listened to a bunch of those clips and all have the dang back pressure, that is what i would like to get rid of.I really want true duals, that's about the only reason i am getting rid of current setup, it is a one into 2. Also can anyone answer my question i posted first about the O2 sensor?

I have seen a test with the NEW cherry bombs when compared to other brands in a flow through test.
the cherry bomb allows up to 85% exhaust flow (non restricting) vs the others only allowing 30 - 30%. which would you rather have?
if I had a gasser, and I do NOT, I would go cherry bombs!
just an opinion.

The o2 is before the cat on these old models. As far as I know you shouldnt have a problem with removing cats. But I dont know if putting new headers would effect the o2 sensor. <- Someone might want to verify this
You might want to consider a Chambered Muffler. Old muscle car sound and no back pressure sound. They arent that much more than glasspacks.

I backfired and blew a hole in my muffler, sounds good but drones a bit too much for most. I'll eventually drop in some headers and run 2 1/4" pipe with cherry bombs and side exits in front of the rear wheels. If you dont want any drone, I guess you should use the flowmasters everyone else is mentioning. I've never used anything but cherry bombs and straight pipes so I can't say how good flowmasters are from experience.
