Default headers/ O2 sensor question!!!!

i have a '92 w150, and i want to run headers and just do some side exit, custom exhaust. i have some degree of fabrication/welding skill, so ill be able to make the exhaust from header-back, but i need to know about the O2 sensor... can i plug in just one side, or should i do an H-pipe between the two? in the picture below i drew the setup i wanna run... i put the "h" pipe in red, because i dont know if i need it. does anyone know?

An H pipe is a good idea,it helps scaveging and low end torque.

if you only have one O2 sensor you realy dont need the H pipe. . ..however just as Larry stated. . .it will help performance.

so where should i put the O2 sensor? in the crossover, in one of the headers...? And ok, the H-pipe is good. what about the design? anyone have any input on it (why it hypothetically wouldn't work, why its a stupid idea, why its ****ing badass and you're jealous, that kinda stuff)?

put the bung for the O2 sensor a few inches behind the collector, then you can run your H pipe after that. I'm unsure if your truck uses two O2 sensors but if it does make sure they are in relatavely the same location for both sides. if it just one then you'll still be fine running it before the H pipe.
