Default dont have any power

Hey i have 250 ram 4x4 with 360 andwhen you give it gas when it is under a load it backfires and doesnt really feel like it has alot of power and i was wondering what would happen if i stuck lucas in the transmission it is a 4 speed with a granny gear an would lucas help with how loud the transmission an the grinding

Ok, the two don't sound related. Sounds like your Engine has jumped time a bit. That will cause the backfire and loss of power.

Before rebuilding the tranny, I would use either Lucas or SeaFoam. (Lucas is my brand of choice) That stuff does wonders on Auto trannies, I'm sure it would do good in Manuals also. Couldn't hurt...
