dont know if its a magnum but everyone tells me that ram was the basic and power ram which i have was the magnum before the actually came out with the magnum name. what would happen if i put the magnum headers on if its not a magnum tho?

i never heard that one before about the ram and power ram but it wont do anything to the engine, the ports on the headers are just designed to fit magnum heads so the headers wouldnt work like they are suppose to.

im pretty sure that power ram (and the "w")just meant 4x4....but could be wrong.

nemesis you're right on that one. power rammeans four wheel drive. and if its a 91, than no it is not a magnum. although i dont know if the exhuast is interchangable. i think they changed the heads and intake manifold or something for '92? not sure on that one.

yea. the 92 year of certain trucks (but not my 150) is actually like a "half magnum"
i dont quite know where i read that....maybe wikipedia or perhaps allpar.com.
but im 90% sure that a handful of the 92 LA engines are sorta like prduction prototypes for the magnum. I think thyve got the better injection system, headers and some other goodies...
