i have a 3.9 and i woulding if anyone knows if can put a 727 or 999 transmission and they will bolt right up to it.....

The V-6 is 3/4 of a 318, more or less, so the tranny should bolt up, just watch for balance weights on the 3.9 converter, if it has 'em, you'll have to transfer 'em to the new trans. Those O.D.s are high dollar ain't they? $1600 bucks rebuilt here.

 

it doesnt thats only the 360....and im thinking of just to the junk yard and finding a transmission and buying a rebuilt kit or do u got ant suggestions!

 

No can't say as I do. Neverhad to do much toa 3.9 but drive 'em. Didn't know if they're internal or external. The wife's '90 Dak A-500 trans took a dump,just bought a 73,000 mi '90 Dak that's crashed for $350.Gonna just swap mtr and all. Thought about the 904 swap, got 2 of 'em, but the rears geared to low for comfortable hwy cruising to suit me.
