pulley and belts

ok i have 1988 3.9l v6 and i was wondering if i could put a wider pulley and belt system on the engine.... does any one know if this colud be done....

Anything is possible. I'd start with a trip to the local boneyard to see if you can find a later model motor, wouldn't matter if it's car or truck, with the system already in place. Buy all the pulleys, brackets, etc. and swap it over. V8 parts might even fit.
You could also try the speed shop. They sell pulleys etc. but it would cost more, and there would be some trial and error.

whiel your tinkering around in there with belts, you might wanna think about putting in an electric fan. ive been waiting fro someone to try it and give me a report.

if you like that idea thren you could look into electric water pump too.....i know they make em for the big blocks...
