the interior is red but i want to change it to a darker color i want people to say wow thats sweet lookin this is going to be my main truck and work truck i was thinking take off the trim paint the bottom silver to where the top of the trim is or the bottom of the trim then black the rest of the way up i dont know yet. my dad said to paint it like this
google it for mroe ideas. try google images and do a search for for d150 classifieds and look at picture sin adds.
a black/silver two tone like you described sounds good. but i maybe instead of black all the way up stop and it go back to silver at some point? i tihnk it would be the reverse of what your dad thinks (exept the grey would be more silver)
i just went thru the colour pocking process and i settled on a red/white i think. i noticed you mentioned removing the trim, was that just ot paint or permanent? i cant find ANY around here so i can give you some cash for it...

i think its going to be permanent i know there is one peice in front of the passenger door that is missing if i'm going topull it off u can have it for free just pay shiping
If you go black and silver on the outside, you can leave the interior red with black and add some brushed aluminum details.

I'll second the black and silver. Or other two tones like silver and charcoal, blue and gray, etc. My truck doesn't have trim and has a flatbed. Originally it was green with a tan interior so I'm thinking about going back with all green...maybe British Racing Green cause it is cheap off of eBay.

I like the green best myself. You need to remember that a two tone paint job wil cost more than a single color and that if you go with a dark color especially black the bodywork will have to be spot on because everything shows upin a dark paint job. A color change is especially expensive since all of the door jambs, interior, engine compartment, all have to be resprayed.
