Well, in my quest to gather parts for by 318 buildup, I just found this handy dandy little piece. A carbed intake manifold thatwill fit both the magnum and LA heads. Apparently made by professional-products . A product of china but hey, we're sending them all our scrap metal, so it should be made of good old US materials right? Anyway, I did a search, and the opinions on these manifold seem pretty consistant. Fair casting and average performance for about 1/2 the cost. Looks good enough for me. $180 is right up my alley.
