Trucks has been making a moaning, whining noise on coasting (down a hill or to a stop), thought nothing of it. Boy did i **** up. Leaving work it got worse and started clacking. Kept driving, again i ****ed up. In front of pasquales it let loose. Blew a baseball size hole in the case. I think the pinion bearing failed and it fell into the other gears. This is the second rearend i have put in the truck since i have bought it. My baby is sitiing, waiting for her time back on the streets once again. Can't post pics, to big.
