I got a pair of 318 magnum manifolds with the magnum heads I bought. They look like they could make a great flow improvement over the old 318 cast iron manifolds. I believe they have a 2-1/4 outlet.

Just figured I would ask.

 

will they bolt to an LA block?

 

As I understand it the exhaust manifold for the magnum and LA block is the same.

i second that

 

Bolt patterns are the same but my LA manifolds for example ('84) have ports below the main exhaust to pump air into the heads as part of the emissions system. If your heads have the air ports you'll be leaking exhaust as the magnums dont cover these up.
